Becoming a math educator felt like fulfilling my destiny. Guided by the example of my parents, both renowned math professors. In our household, a profound enthusiasm for mathematics and science was a common thread, weaving through our daily lives. From an early age, I was captivated by math, delving into the vast collection of algebra and geometry books at home.  By middle school, I began to notice my peers grappling with concepts that I had already familiarized myself with, thanks to the luxury of time spent pondering these topics. This early immersion allowed me to not only understand my own queries but also swiftly devise solutions to them. Empathizing with my classmates' struggles, I found myself naturally bridging their knowledge gaps, not realizing that this was my innate teaching ability coming to the fore.

At the age of 17, I tutored my first student, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to teaching. Over the years, I earned my degree in Mathematics and accumulated extensive experience working with students across various levels, from middle school to college. I refined my ability to assess students' strengths and devised tailored strategies for presenting topics in an accessible manner. Through dialogue, collaboration, and genuine connection, I do more than teach math; I ignite a passion for the subject and equip my students with the skills for problem-solving and critical thinking.

Now, with the privilege of working with over 25 students currently, and having connected with more than 270 students throughout my career, I am profoundly aware of the impact I've had on their lives—and equally, the impact they've had on mine. Witnessing their growth in mathematical confidence, as well as in other areas of life, fills me with immense joy. This journey has been far from one-sided; the lessons my students have imparted to me are invaluable, enriching my life and teaching philosophy profoundly. The exchange of knowledge, the shared experiences, and the deep connections formed along the way have underscored the essence of teaching. It's about much more than imparting academic knowledge; it's about nurturing curiosity, fostering a passion for learning, and supporting personal growth. I am blessed to have been a part of so many students' journeys, each one unique, each one an opportunity to make a lasting imprint on their lives, as they have on mine.
